For us, "Mad Scientist" is more than just a song; it is a medium of catharsis. The track was written during the pandemic lockdowns—a dark period when our entire world, which had revolved around music, suddenly came to a complete standstill for years.
The song captures the pure essence of losing everything we lived for. The quiet despair, the confined reality, and the slow unraveling of sanity became the foundational core of "Mad Scientist." We channeled all that frustration and madness into an intense, uncompromising rock anthem.
The First Step Toward "DEVIATION"
The release of "Mad Scientist" marks the dawn of a new era for Superficialist. The track serves as the lead single paving the way for our forthcoming full-length album, DEVIATION. We are preparing massive things for this record, and "Mad Scientist" is the perfect sonic warm-up for what lies ahead.

Years ago, we wrote our very first song.
Since then, we've kept writing, creating, learning, and growing—one song at a time. What started as an idea slowly became something much bigger, and eventually led us to completing our very first full album.
